COVID Guidelines for the Dance Company School.

Based on government guidance for providers of grassroots sport and gym/leisure/dance studios facilities.

CHILDREN AND PERFORMING ARTS SCHOOLS

Based on government guidance for people who work in performing arts including arts organisations, venue operators and participants.

Do Not attend any classes or enter the building if you have any Covid symptoms.

On entry and exit please wash your hands or use hand sanitiser.

To maintain social distancing on arrival and departure.

Please stagger class timetables to enable cleaning time in between classes and changeover of pupils.

The hirer is responsible to clean the bars, the light switches, the door handles and music players before and after use and in-between classes.

Please arrive in dance wear, place coat and outdoor shoes and any other items in a dedicated carrier bag with name written on it.

A drop off and pick up policy for parents: no waiting in the reception after child has entered the building. Please leave the building.

Please do not arrive early for your class or allotted time.

There will be a give way system in place, right of way will prioritise the people exiting the studios through the front door. People entering the reception will have to wait at the High St door or the top of the steps at the back entrance till the coast is clear.

Please note the Dance Company Studios is not qualified to advice guidance beyond what the government has issued. A risk assessment has been conducted.

Please provide your own COVID procedures and policies.

There will be no water available to buy at the studios.

A dedicated person should be allocated for all schools, to ensure that social distancing and guidelines, inside and outside the studios is being adhered to.

Facial coverings are recommended in the reception areas. They are not compulsory in the studios.

You will be required to sign a declaration confirming that you agree and will execute the guidelines
